Heliconia Typeface

I designed the beginnings of a new typeface, Heliconia, inspired by the breathtaking blooms of the hanging pink flamingo variety. The typeface draws upon the flower’s sensuous curves to create organic letterforms with dramatic contrast and unusual elegance.
